The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Svante Söderlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fredrik Brodin made a huge save. Fredrik Brodin came out of the goal and Svante Söderlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 17 minutes of play, Mantorp's Samuel Söderqwist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Molin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kasper Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Hermansson in the 23rd minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mantorp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mantorp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
