Andreas Liljeström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Lindholm hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petr Bartoň in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melker Wallander saved Little Juventus of Sweden from getting behind. If Lino Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adilson Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemar Pilblad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Lino Gorosti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Melker Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Little Juventus of Sweden's zone, Petr Bartoň stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melker Wallander came out of the goal and Petr Bartoň tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petr Bartoň scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melker Wallander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Gustav Lindholm came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Little Juventus of Sweden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Lindholm couldn't finish the play. Lino Gorosti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Wallander having to interfere. After 57 minutes, Georg Emander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Little Juventus of Sweden and the NewTown Monkeys players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Little Juventus of Sweden's Georg Emander got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 65th minute Petr Bartoň shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Gustav Lindholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melker Wallander made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Petr Bartoň sent off a good shot on target. NewTown Monkeys's Arne Ödmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Liljeström in the 86th minute of play. Georg Emander struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Arne Ödmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little Juventus of Sweden. Little Juventus of Sweden's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
