The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Axelsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karl-Ove Vallin's late challenge caught a Anders Atleter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Ove Vallin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Eskilstuna getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Karl-Ove Vallin hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Anders Atleter's Bo Höijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Göransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thor Fransson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thor Fransson in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Göransson saved Eskilstuna from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Askestät to strike the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Persson in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Hubert Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thor Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes of play, Anders Atleter's Hubert Persson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Göransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Karl-Ove Vallin in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Anders Atleter's Pontus Nordlander. Hubert Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Göransson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Hubert Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anders Atleter's supporters rose to their feet, but Hubert Persson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Persson in the 81st minute of play. Wilhelm Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gabriel Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Persson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Göransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Eskilstuna booed when Anders Atleter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Lennartsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hubert Persson sped through Eskilstuna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Göransson. Lucas Axelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Browall in the 96th minute.
