Edwin Andersson was slow to take the kick. During this time Månkarbo's players had a chance to rest. Edwin Andersson made a great header on Månkarbo's corner, it was just that Prebens Pojkar's Pål Sellberg managed to reach the ball for a save. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yngve Pihl was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Daniel Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
