When André Aleberg fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Star's protests and gave André Aleberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dark Star getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. André Aleberg hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonny Nordin during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonny Nordin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. André Aleberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marc Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Leif Eskilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michael Johnsson. The goal made the score 1-0. Erling Knutsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Michael Johnsson made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, Dark Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. Michael Johnsson stood somewhat misplaced when Leif Eskilsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. The supporters of Dark Star booed when Hultsbergs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, André Aleberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Robert Hermansson scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Michael Johnsson who was too lazy, 3-0. In the 29th minute, Erling Knutsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michael Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Eskilsson in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Gert Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erling Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Johnsson having to interfere. Leif Eskilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leif Eskilsson was the one to do the kick off. Michael Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Knutsson in the 52nd minute of play. Michael Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Eskilsson in the 54th minute of the match. Erling Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Johnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leif Eskilsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Johnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Erling Knutsson got in the 97th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Michael Johnsson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Hultsbergs BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
