Conny Målare made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Holger Trillkott sent off a good shot on target. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Ralf Örtendal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Börje Snäll kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Karlholmsbruk's zone, Olov Isaksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Hedbom came out of the goal and Olov Isaksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Holger Trillkott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conny Målare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Dennis Örnberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Conny Målare made a huge save. Holger Trillkott's late challenge caught a Miolss Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holger Trillkott helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Holger Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holger Trillkott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Målare having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Miolss Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Örtendal came free, but Conny Målare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Ralf Örtendal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miolss Boys's Conny Målare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Miolss Boys from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Karlholmsbruk got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Örnberg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ralf Örtendal made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Miolss Boys's Andy Dalman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. It was beautiful to see Karlholmsbruk's Bengt Hedvall in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Holger Trillkott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Conny Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Miolss Boys booed when Karlholmsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Lundblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conny Målare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Trillkott in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Miolss Boys's Edwin Lägdin got a free kick in the 74th minute. Conny Målare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Trillkott in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Örtendal in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Målare saved Miolss Boys from getting behind. Conny Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Trillkott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Ralf Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Åke Hedbom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walter Pååk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 83 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Örtendal in the 86th minute of play forced Miolss Boys's goalkeeper Conny Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Edwin Lägdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Widberg's late challenge caught a Karlholmsbruk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erik Widberg helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Widberg kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Ralf Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Målare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Pååk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nils-Åke Hedbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karlholmsbruk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
