Teofil Kaczucha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erling Fribäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Erling Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joar Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edvin Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Klint took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erling Fribäck. Erling Fribäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Teofil Kaczucha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Smulan BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ludwig Göransson hit a great ball. Teofil Kaczucha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Fribäck having to interfere. Nicklas Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jon Klint fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Fribäck having to interfere. Anton Ahlfors made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jörgen Hjelm sent off a good shot on target. If Joar Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. Smulan BK's Erling Fribäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Kaczucha in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

With a little luck, Smulan BK's Erling Fribäck got control of the ball when Teofil Kaczucha tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Edvin Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polska BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Fribäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joar Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Joar Hansson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Erling Fribäck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Sjöberg in the 67th minute of play forced Polska BK's goalkeeper Anton Ahlfors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Nicklas Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Smulan BK got a freekick which was hit by Walter Brandin. If Edvin Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludvig Sillén charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludvig Sillén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Polska BK booed when Smulan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvig Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. A long shot from Harry Hafström in the 77th minute of play was well struck, but Erling Fribäck made a really good save at the right post. Erling Fribäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Holmberg in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicklas Holmberg in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erling Fribäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erling Fribäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars-Erik Kellberg in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Smulan BK defense, Teofil Kaczucha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erling Fribäck. The Smulan BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erling Fribäck should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Teofil Kaczucha made a precise shot to the right of Erling Fribäck. Smulan BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Teofil Kaczucha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Erling Fribäck made a huge save. When the match was over Polska BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Smulan BK throughout the match.
