Spectators: 6670 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sakarias Gustafsson got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Kåre Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Lars Bruse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver Mattsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Åkarp FF got a freekick which was hit by Pål Hagberg. A collision led to Finspång getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sven-Erik Ek hit a great ball. Sune Strömbom spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Finspång's goal. Pål Hagberg's late challenge caught a Finspång's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pål Hagberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Åkarp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Vennerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Hjelm in the 31st minute of play forced Åkarp FF's goalkeeper Oliver Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sakarias Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkarp FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sakarias Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Morgan Vester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig-Åke Vennerström hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Henry Hjelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Mattsson having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Henry Hjelm made the kick off in the second half. Sakarias Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morgan Vester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Hjelm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Mattsson having to interfere. Morgan Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Gustafsson in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakarias Gustafsson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Morgan Vester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Stig-Åke Vennerström sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Åkarp FF's zone, Stig-Åke Vennerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Mattsson came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Vennerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Sakarias Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sune Strömbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morgan Vester having to make a save. 76 minutes into the game, Sakarias Gustafsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Morgan Vester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Sakarias Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Åkarp FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Sakarias Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Morgan Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Åkarp FF booed when Finspång was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kåre Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Åkarp FF's zone, Henry Hjelm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Mattsson came out of the goal and Henry Hjelm tried to chip the ball over his head.
