Kolsva's Dick Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Kolsva from getting a goal against them. Dick Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Hjalmar Nyström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dick Åkesson. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Dick Åkesson stood somewhat misplaced when Otto Broberg came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. A collision led to Kolsva getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Hampus Melander hit a great ball. Knut Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hjalmar Nyström struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dick Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karesuando IK. Robin Andersson charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Andersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Kolsva got a freekick which was hit by Robin Andersson. Tobias Eklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knut Sjö having to make a save. After 32 minutes, Jakob Hedlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolsva and the Karesuando IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Otto Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, Kolsva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Otto Broberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dick Åkesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The long shot by Sven-Åke Wahlnäs in the 43rd minute really tested Dick Åkesson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dick Åkesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hjalmar Nyström went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the game, Helge Back was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karesuando IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolsva the free kick. Helge Back kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Tobias Eklund made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Conny Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kolsva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karesuando IK the free kick. Calle Nordström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Knut Sjö came out and tried to block the shot, but Calle Nordström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 58th minute. If Hjalmar Nyström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dick Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Broberg in the 66th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Karesuando IK got a freekick which was hit by Olov Öberg. Tobias Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Sjö having to interfere. Hjalmar Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dick Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tobias Eklund came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Kolsva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Eklund couldn't finish the play. Dick Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Broberg in the 87th minute of the match. Kolsva's Dick Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Nyström in the 92nd minute of play. If Calle Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karesuando IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
