Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Edvin Alén started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tågarp FK's Bertil Löfgren got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Sakarias Alebeck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 3rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Sven-Edvin Alén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rutger Fanström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tågarp FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rutger Fanström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Tomasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Edvin Tomasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Fanström, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute, Sven-Edvin Alén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Edvin Tomasson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 29th minute, Sven-Edvin Alén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tågarp FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rutger Fanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Tomasson having to interfere. In the 34th minute Sven-Edvin Alén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Tomasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Gullbergs Kaj got a freekick which was hit by Alf Lundberg. Sven-Edvin Alén might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Edvin Tomasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Edvin Alén ran back to his position shaking his head. Rutger Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sven-Edvin Tomasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Alén in the 42nd minute of play forced Gullbergs Kaj's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Tomasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Edvin Tomasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Edvin Alén went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Gullbergs Kaj players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tågarp FK were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hjalmar Broman to make the kick off. If Sven-Edvin Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ove Hägg's late challenge caught a Tågarp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ove Hägg helped the player get up and apologised. Ivar Gerdberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 61 played minutes Gullbergs Kaj got a freekick which was hit by Alf Lundberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rutger Fanström got free with Sven-Edvin Tomasson in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes, Jens-Åke Säfström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gullbergs Kaj and the Tågarp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Gullbergs Kaj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Säfström to maneuver through the defense. Rutger Fanström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Sven-Edvin Tomasson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sven-Edvin Tomasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Alén in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74th play minutes Rutger Fanström shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Sven-Edvin Tomasson and just under the crossbar into goal. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Sven-Edvin Tomasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hjalmar Broman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Ljungberg having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Sven-Edvin Alén recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Edvin Tomasson. Sven-Edvin Alén showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Tågarp FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
