Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Walter Bank got the match started through his kick off. Kurt Forss hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Alexander Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Kurt Forss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sölves Steroider's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Köping FF the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Sölves Steroider was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Forss to maneuver through the defense. Gert Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Bank in the 11th minute of the match. Sölves Steroider's George Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Carlsson in the 15th minute of play. Per-Olof Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Lindberg having to interfere. With a little luck, Köping FF's Gert Lindberg got control of the ball when Walter Bank tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Kurt Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Sölves Steroider's George Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Carlsson in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes in the game, Walter Bank fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gert Lindberg having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Per-Olof Säf tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gert Lindberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gert Lindberg came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sölves Steroider's Walter Bank. But to his dismay, Walter Bank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Walter Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Olof Säf struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gert Lindberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sölves Steroider. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Carlsson to make the kick off. Henric Skoog's late challenge caught a Sölves Steroider's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henric Skoog helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Henric Skoog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gert Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Säf in the 63rd minute of the match. Filip Telin charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Telin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Filip Telin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Gullesson made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Torbjörn Svanberg sent off a good shot on target. When Per-Olof Säf came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Sölves Steroider fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Olof Säf couldn't finish the play. If Per-Olof Säf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Säf in the 87th minute of play. Alexander Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. George Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sölves Steroider were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Köping FF for a fine match.
