Bruksvallarna's Fred Söderlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Forsell in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Åby IF booed when Bruksvallarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Brandt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Elliot Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bruksvallarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliot Brandt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bruksvallarna getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Claes Jonsson hit a great ball. Fred Söderlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Kellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elliot Brandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Peter Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Max Bergman made a precise shot to the right of Peter Lundin. Åby IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Bergman got free with Peter Lundin in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Åby IF's zone, Elliot Brandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Lundin came out of the goal and Elliot Brandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Max Bergman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Brandt in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Brandt in the 73rd minute of play forced Åby IF's goalkeeper Peter Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Bergman in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Lundin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjell-Arne Nordström charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell-Arne Nordström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Åby IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bruksvallarna:s goal. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Bruksvallarna. Edmund Holm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Peter Lundin. 4-0. In the 85th minute, Edmund Holm sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Åby IF's Peter Lundin didn't even have to move. Stig-Arne Busk kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Fred Söderlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Forsell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Bruksvallarna were the better team. Bruksvallarna's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
