To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Per-Åke Stenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svärdsjö RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Åke Stenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Björn Hultin took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Börje Norberg to make any attempt to save it. Tage Alfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Börje Norberg made a huge save. Ture Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Mikael Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
