Bernt Landin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Alfons Alegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Björkdal in the 3rd minute of the match. Alfons Alegren made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Casper Lövgren sent off a good shot on target. Målarna's Jimmie Melberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Eklund in the 6th minute of play. Alfons Alegren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Bratt went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Pelle Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernt Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, PwN's Alfons Alegren got control of the ball when Casper Lövgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Marcus Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Målarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PwN the free kick. Marcus Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Axel Almstedt got free with Alfons Alegren in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfons Alegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Burman in the 33rd minute of play. Nils Bratt might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfons Alegren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nils Bratt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Landin in the 36th minute of play forced Målarna's goalkeeper Jimmie Melberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfons Alegren made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Casper Lövgren sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in PwN's zone, Simon Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Alegren came out of the goal and Simon Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmie Melberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Nils Bratt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Björkdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nils Bratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, PwN's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Bratt came free, but Alfons Alegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfons Alegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Björkdal in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Nils Bratt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Krister Bruse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Melberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Casper Lövgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Alegren having to interfere. When Målarna's Axel Björkdal in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PwN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute, PwN's Pelle Fransson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jimmie Melberg. Jimmie Melberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Marcus Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Alegren having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Målarna's Nils Bratt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Alegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When John Wickander came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Målarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Wickander couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Nils Bratt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Alegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Målarna getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Simon Wallman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nils Bratt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Målarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Bratt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Alegren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Målarna lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
