In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Börje Norberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Herman Beckman charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herman Beckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Råda's Herman Beckman got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Svärdsjö RK's zone, Herman Beckman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Norberg came out of the goal and Herman Beckman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Vallgren during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Häll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Torbjörn Arenberg made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Ulrik Drewitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Beckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Norberg having to interfere. In the 38th minute Hans Vallgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Råda's Johnny Brovall got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Vallgren made a kick off. Börje Norberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Råda's Hans Vallgren. But to his dismay, Hans Vallgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dennis Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svärdsjö RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Häll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Arenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Hans Vallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Tommy Tunberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Norberg having to interfere. Per-Åke Stenberg's late challenge caught a Råda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Hans Vallgren took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Börje Norberg to make any attempt to save it. Börje Norberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Vallgren's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Herman Beckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Vallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 82 in the game by Hans Vallgren from a close distance when the talented Börje Norberg managed to make a qualified save. Svärdsjö RK's players were relieved. Per-Åke Stenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Torbjörn Arenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans Vallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86thth minute of the game Hans Vallgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svärdsjö RK's Börje Norberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Börje Norberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Tunberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Vallgren in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Råda played a much better game than Svärdsjö RK and deserved their victory. The Svärdsjö RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
