When Freddie Haegg fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skärhamn's protests and gave Freddie Haegg a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 56th minute of the match Henning Bern shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Ivarsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Axel Ivarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urban Ålberg's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Urban Ålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Axel Ivarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Ålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
