Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Mjällby AIF were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after FC Byggmäklarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ingvar Bergren took the corner. Edgar Nyman took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Ahlquist. Konrad Ahlquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Konrad Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Österberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marc Öberg in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konrad Ahlquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Viktor Österberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Klementsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Österberg in the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Byggmäklarna booed when Mjällby AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Pilblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Byggmäklarna players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mjällby AIF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
