The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gunnesbo Gunners's Filip Moberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnesbo Gunners from getting a goal against them. If Roland Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnesbo Gunners's Filip Moberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Smedfeldt in the 7th minute of play. Aaron Grönberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Stenkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Gunnesbo Gunners getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Johan Vik hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Skytt got free with Filip Moberg in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute, Sten Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Moberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Smedfeldt in the 22nd minute of play. If Roland Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Eddie Smedfeldt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Filip Moberg, passed just outside the right post. Filip Moberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Skytt in the 26th minute. Eddie Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Moberg having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Gottfrid Gullesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Eddie Smedfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Haström kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Kjell Stenkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Asklöv went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Casper Arvidsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnesbo Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hindås the free kick. Casper Arvidsson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Eddie Smedfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 47 in the game by Roland Skytt from a close distance when the talented Filip Moberg managed to make a qualified save. Gunnesbo Gunners's players were relieved. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Hindås booed when Gunnesbo Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Vik during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Gunnesbo Gunners got a freekick which was hit by Johan Vik. Eddie Smedfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roland Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Moberg having to interfere. Eddie Smedfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Grönberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kjell Stenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Adrian Asklöv managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnesbo Gunners's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Asklöv was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kjell Stenkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Moberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Skytt in the 76th minute of the match. If Eddie Smedfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Moberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Smedfeldt's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Sixten Anselius hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
