If Arne Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Tolsson got free with Örjan Haglund in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomtebackens IF were furious when Niclas Holmgren was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 11 minutes into the game, one of Tomtebackens IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of FC Albania City booed when Tomtebackens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Bark didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Albania City's Lennart Tolsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Örjan Haglund. That made the score 4-0 after 24 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valter Örtendahl during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Albania City booed when Tomtebackens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Örtendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anders Stenkvist made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lennart Tolsson. Lennart Tolsson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Örjan Haglund. Örjan Haglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. With his leg Örjan Haglund managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when FC Albania City's Lennart Tolsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the match, Karl-Åke Målare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Örjan Haglund. Tomtebackens IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Åke Målare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Tomtebackens IF's Örjan Haglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Holmberg in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Kristian Broberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Albania City's Peder Hägert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulf Klemensson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kristian Broberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peder Hägert having to interfere. Örjan Haglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Holmberg in the 58th minute of the match. Örjan Haglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Tolsson in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to FC Albania City getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. William Johnsson hit a great ball. Örjan Haglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Holmberg in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Tomtebackens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Tolsson came free, but Örjan Haglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Arne Sjö notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Tomtebackens IF's Örjan Haglund. Örjan Haglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Sjö in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Örjan Haglund saved Tomtebackens IF from getting behind. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Arne Sjö sped through Tomtebackens IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Örjan Haglund. The supporters of FC Albania City booed when Tomtebackens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Sjö in the 80th minute of play forced Tomtebackens IF's goalkeeper Örjan Haglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Tolsson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Örjan Haglund. Örjan Haglund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After 87 minutes, Kristian Broberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tomtebackens IF and the FC Albania City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Tomtebackens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Broberg to maneuver through the defense. Örjan Haglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Örjan Haglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Tolsson in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that FC Albania City were the better team. FC Albania City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
