Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mats Bergqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Håkan Linqvist notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nävlinge's Joacim Fredriksson. Joacim Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Håkan Linqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joacim Fredriksson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Kurt Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Bergqvist in the 10th minute of play. If Håkan Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes, Göran Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nävlinge and the Ramvik FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nävlinge's Göran Sandström got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Håkan Linqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joacim Fredriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Göran Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Bergqvist in the 25th minute of play. Håkan Linqvist struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Joacim Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramvik FF. In the 36th minute, Esbjörn Örtendal made a precise shot to the right of Joacim Fredriksson. Nävlinge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Håkan Linqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joacim Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nävlinge's Leif Sjöö got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esbjörn Örtendal was the one to do the kick off. Nävlinge's Joacim Fredriksson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Nävlinge from getting a goal against them. Håkan Linqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joacim Fredriksson made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Nävlinge's zone, Håkan Linqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Fredriksson came out of the goal and Håkan Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Leif Sjöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nävlinge's zone, Håkan Linqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Fredriksson came out of the goal and Håkan Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramvik FF's Esbjörn Örtendal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joacim Fredriksson. That made the score 1-5 after 70 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esbjörn Örtendal in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joacim Fredriksson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joacim Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Örtendal in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Håkan Linqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ramvik FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Linqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esbjörn Örtendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Fredriksson having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Zebastian Fridlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nävlinge and the Ramvik FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Nävlinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zebastian Fridlund to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Böcklund's late challenge caught a Nävlinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Böcklund helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ramvik FF's Ronny Böcklund got a free kick in the 87th minute. Göran Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Fransson having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ramvik FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
