Aspabruk FF's Filiph Hedin suffered a concussion in the 11th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Göran Falkrantz charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Falkrantz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Göran Falkrantz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ted Tingelholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Aspabruk FF's Bengt-Arne Boström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Strömbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Birger Britz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Odin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birger Britz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Gunnarsson in the 33rd minute. 39 minutes in the game, Kåre Odin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Aspabruk FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Odin came free, but Birger Britz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filip Gunnarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Birger Britz made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Holm RK's Kåre Odin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Birger Britz narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kåre Odin was the one to do the kick off. Aspabruk FF's Birger Britz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Odin in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Aspabruk FF's Emil Lind seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emil Lind the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aspabruk FF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emil Lind had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th minute, one of Aspabruk FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aspabruk FF. Holm RK's Kåre Odin got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Gunnarsson scored 3-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birger Britz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Filip Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Lövkvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Bengt-Arne Boström charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt-Arne Boström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Bengt-Arne Boström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Filip Gunnarsson notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Aspabruk FF's Birger Britz. Birger Britz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Filip Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Johannes Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Holm RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Tillman couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Holm RK had won after a very even match.
