A collision led to Fortaleza IF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sakarias Lenberg hit a great ball. Pontus Bergkvist's late challenge caught a FCB.Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pontus Bergkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fortaleza IF's Pontus Bergkvist got a free kick in the 28th minute. Felix Lundkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Michael Tingelholm made a huge save. Felix Lundkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michael Tingelholm firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wiktor Hård fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Tingelholm having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Fortaleza IF's Pontus Bergkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Billing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FCB.Junior's zone, Sakarias Lenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Billing came out of the goal and Sakarias Lenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pontus Bergkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Billing having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Felix Lundkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCB.Junior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Lundkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wiktor Hård to strike the kick off in the second half. Pontus Bergkvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Fortaleza IF's Pontus Bergkvist got a free kick in the 55th minute. Michael Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lundkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
