The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olov Enström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Djurgården protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olov Enström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Henry Friberger went to the wrong direction when Elof Eklund was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Per-Arne Gråberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Friberger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Arne Gråberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Stig Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kungshamn IF's Vilgot Nyman got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Per-Arne Gråberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården's Henry Friberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Sven-Ove Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Arne Gråberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Henry Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig Ambjörnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kungshamn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Ambjörnsson came free, but Adrian Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sven-Ove Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kungshamn IF's Adrian Isaksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Ambjörnsson in the 67th minute of play. The referee showed Vidar Billing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stenman in the 80th minute of play forced Djurgården's goalkeeper Henry Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Stenman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Kungshamn IF booed when Djurgården was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position.
