Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernst Ugla got the match started through his kick off. Töreboda RK's Thor Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Lindberg in the 4th minute of play. Torbjörn Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes, Torbjörn Gulliksson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gullringen RK and the Töreboda RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Gullringen RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Gulliksson to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Holmstedt took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastian Finsberg. Sebastian Finsberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gullringen RK's zone, Joakim Holmstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Finsberg came out of the goal and Joakim Holmstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A long shot from Inge Hultman in the 21st minute of play was well struck, but Thor Sjödin made a really good save at the right post. After 26 played minutes Gullringen RK got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Thorsberg. Sebastian Finsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Ugla in the 28th minute of play. When Rutger Thorsberg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gullringen RK's protests and gave Rutger Thorsberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gullringen RK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rutger Thorsberg hit a great ball. Thomas Haeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Wictor Finnman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullringen RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Wictor Finnman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thor Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th match minute, Gullringen RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Finnman to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Holmstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torbjörn Gulliksson made a kick off. Hans Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Torbjörn Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Töreboda RK's zone, Torbjörn Gulliksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Sjödin came out of the goal and Torbjörn Gulliksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thomas Haeger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Haeger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torbjörn Gulliksson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Sjödin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 81 minutes, Thomas Haeger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gullringen RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Haeger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Joakim Holmstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Ugla in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Töreboda RK's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Gulliksson came free, but Thor Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Gulliksson in the 93rd minute of play forced Töreboda RK's goalkeeper Thor Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
