Isac Ennegren, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lars-Erik Holmberg's late challenge caught a Ödskölt IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars-Erik Holmberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Svennebanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Lindgren in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Asmundsson saved Ödskölt IF from getting behind. Kenneth Åberg struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ulrik Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödskölt IF. When Svennebanan's Frank Lindgren in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Svennebanan's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Kielberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Asmundsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Ulrik Arvidsson managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Ödskölt IF's Tor Strömberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tor Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Kielberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Asmundsson having to interfere.

The wind increased when Kenneth Åberg made the kick off in the second half. Ulrik Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Frank Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Asmundsson having to interfere. Frank Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Tommy Asmundsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svennebanan. Yngve Arhenius hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the game, Frank Lindgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Asmundsson. Frank Lindgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Svennebanan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
