Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Börge Apelkvist started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Enviken's Timmy Ekman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dag Larsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl Boberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börge Apelkvist's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Dag Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Ekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Bjurholm's Dag Larsson got control of the ball when Jim Lindström tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börge Apelkvist in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Boberg saved Enviken from getting behind. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enviken's goalkeeper Carl Boberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Börge Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Boberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Timmy Ekman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timmy Ekman struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Dag Larsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enviken. After having played for 40 minutes, Börge Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjurholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börge Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Bjurholm's Dag Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Lindström in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Bjurholm's goal looked a bit too open when Jim Lindström came free, but Dag Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Bollström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Lövskog charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Lövskog the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Enviken a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jan-Ove Lindström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bjurholm's Dag Larsson. 1-0. In the 72nd minute, Tommy Skoglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bjurholm defense, Timmy Ekman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dag Larsson. The Bjurholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dag Larsson should have stopped the shot. Börge Apelkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Carl Boberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes into the game, Börge Apelkvist lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Carl Boberg. Bjurholm's Robin Ennegren suffered a concussion in the 81st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 82 minutes, Conny Pååk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Enviken and the Bjurholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Conny Pååk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bjurholm's Börge Apelkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börge Apelkvist in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carl Boberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börge Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Enviken could leave the field as winners, despite Bjurholm having more of the ball for most of the match.
