After a rather tough play, Trollboll BK's Mark Hedström got a free kick in the 7th minute. When William Ahlerot fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hällekis's protests and gave William Ahlerot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, William Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fredrik Möllgren hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Jan-Olof Grelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trollboll BK and the Hällekis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trollboll BK's Jan-Olof Grelsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes, Hällekis's Bernt Björck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Stålman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hällekis reached it. If Gunnar Eskilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Trollboll BK booed when Hällekis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Hällekis defense, Mark Hedström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Måns Öberg. The Hällekis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Måns Öberg should have stopped the shot. Mark Hedström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evert Levander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Stålman having to make a save. When Gunnar Eskilsson came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Hällekis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Eskilsson couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Trollboll BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Eskilsson came free, but George Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Mossberg's late challenge caught a Hällekis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per Mossberg helped the player get up and apologised. Per Mossberg kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias Asklund made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Hällekis's Evert Levander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Stålman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Evert Levander came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Hällekis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Levander couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Eskilsson struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. George Stålman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hällekis. The supporters of Trollboll BK booed when Hällekis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Evert Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Stålman made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Evert Levander sent off a good shot on target. 82 minutes into the match, Hällekis's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Hedström came free, but Måns Öberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Evert Levander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hällekis's Gunnar Eskilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of George Stålman. That made the score 1-1 after 95 minutes of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
