Tallbacken United's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Salqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustav Svensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Mager, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Freddie Ekström's late challenge caught a Tallbacken United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 10th minute of the match Magnus Haegg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustav Svensson skillfully saved the ball. Leonard Pilblad struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dick Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Mountain State FC. Stig-Åke Salqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustav Svensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Blue Mountain State FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Ekström to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Mountain State FC's zone, Fredric Mager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustav Svensson came out of the goal and Fredric Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dick Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Pilblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blue Mountain State FC's Peder Blomqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peder Blomqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Dick Karlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Calle Drewitz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tallbacken United's protests and gave Calle Drewitz a yellow card for diving instead. Calle Drewitz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Blue Mountain State FC booed when Tallbacken United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Drewitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peder Blomqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Dick Karlsson made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Pilblad was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Leonard Pilblad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blue Mountain State FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Pilblad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Tallbacken United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. Dick Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Blomqvist in the 60th minute of play. Douglas Nord's late challenge caught a Tallbacken United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Douglas Nord helped the player get up and apologised. If Stig-Åke Salqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Leonard Pilblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dick Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Pilblad in the 78th minute of play. Tallbacken United's Georg Forsberg pulled a muscle in his leg after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Bern during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tallbacken United's Fredric Mager got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig-Åke Salqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gustav Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peder Blomqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dick Karlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Leonard Pilblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Karlsson having to interfere. Peder Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Dick Karlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Mountain State FC. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
