In the 11th minute, Pelle Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rickard Jonasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Olof Söderström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Jonasson ran back to his position shaking his head. Tivoli Hill FC's Per-Olof Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Lundqvist in the 14th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Tivoli Hill FC's Ronny Hök got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Walter Stigsson. Tivoli Hill FC's Per-Olof Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Lundqvist in the 23rd minute of play. Pelle Lundqvist scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Olof Söderström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per Tinglöf hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Lundqvist in the 31st minute of play forced Tivoli Hill FC's goalkeeper Per-Olof Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Rickard Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Tivoli Hill FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hemse were winning 2-3.

Hemse's Pelle Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pelle Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Hemse left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tivoli Hill FC.
