Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eddie Öman kicked off to start the match. Herman Västberg took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conny Ståhlman. Conny Ståhlman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Öman in the 13th minute of play forced FC Gizmo's goalkeeper Conny Ståhlman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Herman Västberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Stocksund United got a freekick which was hit by Frank Tunberg. In the 19th minute of the match Torgny Löfskog shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Sander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bo Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddie Öman in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Ståhlman saved FC Gizmo from getting behind. Björn Bäckström might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Sander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Bäckström ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Björn Bäckström made a kick off. Herman Västberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes in the game, Erik Bergfeldt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Walter Sander having to interfere. Björn Bäckström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Björn Bäckström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gizmo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Bäckström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Herman Västberg came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Stocksund United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Västberg couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd match minute, FC Gizmo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Herman Västberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herman Västberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Käller was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Gizmo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stocksund United fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Gizmo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
