After having played for 3 minutes, Charlie Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grabbarna grus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Julin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Arne Österlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Edgar Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Julin in the 8th minute of play. Stig-Ove Vidman charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Vidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stig-Ove Vidman kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Sysslebäck IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Utter to maneuver through the defense. Göran Kaxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sysslebäck IFK's Michael Godholm pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 17 minutes, Göran Kaxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grabbarna grus and the Sysslebäck IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grabbarna grus getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Göran Kaxe hit a great ball. Jörgen Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Malmgren in the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Göran Kaxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Eriksson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Göran Kaxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arne Österlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Eriksson having to interfere. Arne Österlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Edgar Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Stig-Ove Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grabbarna grus's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Ove Vidman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Eriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Sysslebäck IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Grabbarna grus were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Charlie Julin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Julin in the 56th minute of play forced Sysslebäck IFK's goalkeeper Edgar Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Ove Vidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Arne Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edgar Eriksson came out of the goal and Arne Österlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Grabbarna grus's Charlie Julin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Eriksson. Edgar Eriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Arne Österlund struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Edgar Eriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grabbarna grus. Arne Österlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Bjurström hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Klas Holm took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Wallander. Jörgen Wallander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The corner led Grabbarna grus's Kasper Adelsköld to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgar Eriksson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 84 played minutes Sysslebäck IFK got a freekick which was hit by Nils Arvidsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Vidman in the 85th minute of play forced Sysslebäck IFK's goalkeeper Edgar Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charlie Julin scored 1-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Eriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charlie Julin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edgar Eriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Charlie Julin took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Edgar Eriksson to make any attempt to save it. Grabbarna grus's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
