After having played for 2 minutes, Jonas Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to FC Tivo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fabian Aleberg hit a great ball. Dag Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Tivo! When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Sälen FK's Vilhelm Björling got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Åke Sundberg. Karl Jakobsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rutger Fransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Karl Jakobsson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Rutger Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tivo. Lars Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Fransson having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, FC Tivo's Karl Jakobsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rutger Fransson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Jakobsson in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rutger Fransson saved Sälen FK from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Sivert Sjö got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the match, Lars Hedlund notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sälen FK's Rutger Fransson. Rutger Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rutger Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tivo. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Lars Hedlund sped through Sälen FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rutger Fransson. Rutger Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Hedlund to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Tivo's Villiam Erserman got a free kick in the 57th minute. Sälen FK's Vilhelm Björling couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Tivo. After 63 played minutes Sälen FK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Boklund. After a rather tough play, FC Tivo's Jonas Sandberg got a free kick in the 70th minute. Dag Wiklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Sundberg having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Sälen FK got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Månsson. Rutger Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Hedlund in the 85th minute of play. Karl Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Fransson having to interfere. FC Tivo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
