Maximilian Månsson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sälen FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Kling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Peking Pulstraz's zone, Sivert Sjö stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börge Bergendahl came out of the goal and Sivert Sjö tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Peking Pulstraz's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Wiklund came free, but Börge Bergendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gustav Siggman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
