The referee ignored Alvesta United's protests and gave Peter Ivarsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Peter Ivarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kjell Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Benjamin Jonsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Folke Bock saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Folke Bock was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Jonsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 54 minute of play. Kjell Ekenberg in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Folke Bock, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee ignored Alvesta United's protests and gave Georg Vedholm a yellow card for diving instead. After 98 played minutes Alvesta United got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Siggman. When the final whistle sounded Gräddhyllans FootballClub left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alvesta United.
