Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Jörgen Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Lindkvist having to interfere. Paul Lindkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Hedberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With 15 minutes on the clock, Östen Gallin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brovers FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Ljung. Conny Larsfelt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arman Kjellqvist. 1-0. Per-Erik Tinglöv's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Arman Kjellqvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ivar Nyström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paul Lindkvist having to make a save. 28 minutes into the game, Conny Larsfelt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljung's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brovers FC the free kick. Conny Larsfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Paul Lindkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Caspersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Victor Malmström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ljung's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valter Löfgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Brovers FC's players had a chance to rest. Brovers FC's Valter Löfgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paul Lindkvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Per-Erik Tinglöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Mossberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Nyström to strike the kick off in the second half. Brovers FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Ljung's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valter Löfgren took the corner. The supporters of Ljung booed when Brovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Conny Larsfelt came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ljung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conny Larsfelt couldn't finish the play. Victor Malmström took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arman Kjellqvist. Arman Kjellqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ivar Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arman Kjellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Malmström in the 69th minute of play. Elias Caspersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Lindkvist having to interfere. Arman Kjellqvist came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ljung's Per-Erik Tinglöv. But to his dismay, Per-Erik Tinglöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ivar Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Paul Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Brovers FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Brovers FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Ljung were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
