Hampus Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Västerstrand in the 8th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dorotea Stingrays's goalkeeper Kevin Sigman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When David Hegg came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Dorotea Stingrays fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Hegg couldn't finish the play. Hampus Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ulf Back fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linghed IK's protests and gave Ulf Back a yellow card for diving instead. Dorotea Stingrays's Sven-Ove Pilgren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Linghed IK. Joakim Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kevin Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Björkqvist during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ove Björkqvist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. When Linghed IK's Hampus Back in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. George Glad was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Linghed IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dorotea Stingrays were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Hegg was the one to do the kick off. Joakim Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Kevin Sigman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linghed IK. In the 72nd minute, Sven Lindman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Glad was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sven-Ove Pilgren. 75 minutes into the match, Dorotea Stingrays's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Danielsson came free, but Kevin Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sven Lindman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. After 78 played minutes Linghed IK got a freekick which was hit by Sven Lindman. If David Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. George Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Linghed IK's goalkeeper George Glad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenneth Västerstrand. Dorotea Stingrays's Kevin Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Danielsson in the 95th minute of play. Kevin Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Danielsson in the 98th minute of play. Dorotea Stingrays played a much better game than Linghed IK and deserved their victory. The Linghed IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
