An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Tinglöv in the 11th minute of play forced Atletico Admause's goalkeeper Gösta Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Kock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ström in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Valter Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Kock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes Atletico Admause got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Lund. Karl-Ove Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Robert Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valter Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikael Ryberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gösta Eklund having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Karl-Ove Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knut Kock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Sandström in the 76th minute of play. Jonas Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mikael Ryberg came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bergby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Ryberg couldn't finish the play. If Karl-Ove Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Eklund having to interfere. Atletico Admause succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bergby had controlled the match.
