Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leif Berglund started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th minute, Jan-Olof Jonasson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ove Kilström. The goal made the score 2-0. Jan-Olof Jonasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ove Kilström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rune Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. BK Dick's Ove Kilström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save BK Dick from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Österbybruk booed when BK Dick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Svanström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, BK Dick's Ove Kilström got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Jonasson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Österbybruk's Anders Lustig got a free kick in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Österbybruk's zone, Leif Berglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Danielsson came out of the goal and Leif Berglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, BK Dick's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Lundström came free, but Ove Kilström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Kilström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Jonasson in the 39th minute. Jan-Olof Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ove Kilström made a huge save. Rune Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Kilström having to interfere. Rune Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ove Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes BK Dick got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Åke Svanström. Jan-Olof Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Kilström having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The supporters of Österbybruk booed when BK Dick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Harlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Jan-Olof Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Österbybruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Olof Jonasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Kilström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ove Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Jonasson in the 62nd minute of the match. Rune Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Ove Kilström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Österbybruk. Rune Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Kilström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Olof Jonasson in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ove Kilström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Kilström having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Leif Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Dick's supporters rose to their feet, but Leif Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Michael Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Zebastian Blomberg came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Österbybruk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zebastian Blomberg couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, BK Dick's Daniel Albohm got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Österbybruk players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
