Håkan Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, FC Nordic's Esbjörn Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patric Berggren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viktor Göransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patric Berggren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dsligan's Patric Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Håkansson in the 45th minute of play. Conny Vallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Stål having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esbjörn Håkansson made a kick off. Viktor Göransson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. FC Nordic's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Esbjörn Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nordic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, FC Nordic's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Gustafsson came free, but Albin Stål reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Nordic's Albin Stål played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Vallander in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Nordic's zone, Conny Vallander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albin Stål came out of the goal and Conny Vallander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Albin Stål tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
