Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inge Juhlin started the match with the kick off. Henry Ödmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Juhlin in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Svartsjö RK's zone, Åke Falkrans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Ödmann came out of the goal and Åke Falkrans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcus Rönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Henry Ödmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Skarkman in the 16th minute of play. Inge Juhlin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Inge Juhlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Djurgårdens if booed when Svartsjö RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Palmkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Palmkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Lindgren in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Svartsjö RK's Kent Ekeroth got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Djurgårdens if's Inge Juhlin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henry Ödmann. Henry Ödmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Henry Ödmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Falkrans, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Djurgårdens if's Jonas Palmkvist got control of the ball when Charlie Lindgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Svartsjö RK's Henry Vassenius, in the 56th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Svartsjö RK. Jonas Palmkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Vassenius's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Henry Ödmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Skarkman in the 63rd minute of the match. Henry Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Juhlin in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Juhlin in the 69th minute of play forced Svartsjö RK's goalkeeper Henry Ödmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Falkrans in the 74th minute of play. Henry Vassenius was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Inge Juhlin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Djurgårdens if fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Juhlin couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Åke Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Falkrans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Henry Ödmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcus Rönn fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djurgårdens if's protests and gave Marcus Rönn a yellow card for diving instead. Marcus Rönn kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Svartsjö RK got a freekick which was hit by Kent Ekeroth.
