Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inge Juhlin kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Barsebäck IF's Hubert Lund got a free kick in the 4th minute. Calle Björnberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Palmkvist having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inge Juhlin in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Askberg saved Barsebäck IF from getting behind. When Per-Åke Löfskog fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barsebäck IF's protests and gave Per-Åke Löfskog a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Barsebäck IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Löfskog to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Jens-Åke Skålberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barsebäck IF's Paul Askberg didn't even have to move. In the 31st minute, Inge Juhlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 minutes Barsebäck IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jens-Åke Skålberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Djurgårdens if's Jens-Åke Skålberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Paul Askberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Djurgårdens if's goalkeeper Jonas Palmkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Calle Björnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Barsebäck IF's Karl-Michael Siggman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Palmkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inge Juhlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Askberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmy Vallgren during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Palmkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karl-Michael Siggman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Juhlin struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Paul Askberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djurgårdens if. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Siggman in the 89th minute of play forced Djurgårdens if's goalkeeper Jonas Palmkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
