Leonardo Holmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Wassenius in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Oxelösund IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Lekberg to maneuver through the defense. Edvin Ambjörnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Holmgren having to make a save. PelliBelli's Osvald Kalfhage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save PelliBelli from getting a goal against them. If Dan Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Edvin Ambjörnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonardo Holmgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fredrik Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Rolfsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvald Kalfhage came out and tried to block the shot, but Andy Rolfsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 36th minute. Edvin Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PelliBelli's Osvald Kalfhage proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save PelliBelli from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvin Ambjörnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvald Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Blom in the 56th minute of the match. Andy Rolfsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Osvald Kalfhage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Oxelösund IK's goalkeeper Leonardo Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Wassenius. Edvin Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dan Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oxelösund IK's Carl Lundström got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Edvin Ambjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Holmgren having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Oxelösund IK's goalkeeper Leonardo Holmgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Wassenius. Edvin Ambjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Edvin Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvald Kalfhage having to interfere. Aleksander Lekberg's late challenge caught a PelliBelli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksander Lekberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PelliBelli booed when Oxelösund IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Oxelösund IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lars Lustig was slow to take the kick. During this time PelliBelli's players had a chance to rest. Fredrik Blom might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osvald Kalfhage. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Blom ran back to his position shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
