Algot Böcklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Tingberg in the 5th minute of the match. Sören Tingberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC STEN getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Urban Hård hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, IFK Champione's Erling Hjälm got a free kick in the 14th minute. Algot Böcklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Majman in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Ivan Majman made a precise shot to the right of Algot Böcklund. FC STEN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 36th minute, Torsten Sjöström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Majman scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Algot Böcklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Friberger was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Champione's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martin Tolsson was slow to take the kick. During this time FC STEN's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Urban Hård managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Pelle Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Majman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Böcklund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Majman in the 65th minute of play forced FC STEN's goalkeeper Algot Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Majman took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Algot Böcklund. Algot Böcklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Ivan Majman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the IFK Champione fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Majman couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, IFK Champione was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Fanström to maneuver through the defense. Nils Kämpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Tolsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Hjalmar Friberger notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of IFK Champione's Nils Kämpe. Nils Kämpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, IFK Champione's Erling Hjälm got a free kick in the 81st minute. Sören Tingberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algot Böcklund having to interfere. The supporters of IFK Champione booed when FC STEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Hård didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC STEN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Ivan Majman scored to the left of an out of position Algot Böcklund, making the score, 1-4. After 90 minutes, Torsten Sjöström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC STEN and the IFK Champione players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC STEN's Torsten Sjöström got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ivan Majman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Sören Tingberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Champione's supporters rose to their feet, but Sören Tingberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Algot Böcklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched IFK Champione eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
