When Wiktor Karlstedt came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Vellinge FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Karlstedt couldn't finish the play. When Arvin Harlén fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Linghed BF's protests and gave Arvin Harlén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, Linghed BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Harlén to maneuver through the defense. Bo Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Melander in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Linghed BF booed when Vellinge FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Linghed BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vellinge FK were winning 0-1.

Linghed BF's Bo Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Melander in the 52nd minute of play. Victor Jernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mattias Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vellinge FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Melander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Håkansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Linghed BF's goalkeeper Bo Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Karlstedt. Vellinge FK's Wiktor Karlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wiktor Karlstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Vellinge FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Linghed BF throughout the match.
