Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urban Nilsson got the match started through his kick off. 8 minutes into the game, Urban Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Albert Runberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonas Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Runberg having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mårten Utter during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gånghester getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mårten Utter hit a great ball. Urban Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Isbergets IF got a freekick which was hit by Josef Axelsson. Isbergets IF's Urban Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Nilsson in the 37th minute of play forced Gånghester's goalkeeper Albert Runberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Runberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gånghester's zone, Josef Axelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Runberg came out of the goal and Josef Axelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Sixten Högman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sixten Lingren. Sixten Högman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixten Högman made a kick off. Albert Runberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Nilsson in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Högman in the 63rd minute of play forced Isbergets IF's goalkeeper Sixten Lingren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonas Vinström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gånghester getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mårten Utter hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Richard Ekelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Herbert Ekelund fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gånghester's protests and gave Herbert Ekelund a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Isbergets IF booed when Gånghester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Ekelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Linus Engström's late challenge caught a Gånghester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Engström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Isbergets IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Engström to maneuver through the defense. Urban Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gånghester's Albert Runberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Vinström in the 88th minute of play. If Isaac Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isbergets IF's Urban Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Isbergets IF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
