The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Arenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Beckman having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, Färnäs's Felix Ahlberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Beckman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Arenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Simon Arenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Beckman. Dannike's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Arenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Dannike players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Färnäs were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Arenberg was the one to do the kick off. Felix Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rune Beckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
