The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Henån booed when FC Aesthetic Revolution was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Hurtig didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Fastesson in the 6th minute of play forced FC Aesthetic Revolution's goalkeeper Hannes Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Aesthetic Revolution getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Stig Bergren hit a great ball. Erling Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Gallin in the 17th minute of play. Erling Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Gallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Erling Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Björck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Björck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Erling Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Lundgren's late challenge caught a FC Aesthetic Revolution's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Lundgren helped the player get up and apologised. Erling Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Björck in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Aesthetic Revolution's zone, Kaj Fastesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hannes Hagström came out of the goal and Kaj Fastesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute of the match Henån got a corner. FC Aesthetic Revolution's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tage Eklund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Henån's Gunnar Tinglöv getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rikard Anundsson's late challenge caught a Henån's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rikard Anundsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes FC Aesthetic Revolution got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Anundsson. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell Lundgren made a kick off. Hannes Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell Lundgren in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tage Eklund in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Hagström saved FC Aesthetic Revolution from getting behind. With an all-out effort, FC Aesthetic Revolution's Erling Eklund threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rikard Anundsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tage Eklund in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Hagström saved FC Aesthetic Revolution from getting behind. Hannes Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 73 in the game by Per Gallin from a close distance when the talented Erling Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Henån's players were relieved. In the 76th minute, Allan Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Lundgren in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hannes Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Aesthetic Revolution's Henrik Björck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erling Eklund. That made the score 0-2 after 81 minutes of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Henån:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Aesthetic Revolution:s goal. The goalkeeper, Erling Eklund, was totally fooled by FC Aesthetic Revolution's Adrian Njurenius, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Erling Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
