Gatans Lag's Henning Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Östman in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Alvar Strand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ac Jordbro booed when Gatans Lag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Bodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickard Wenerdahl during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ac Jordbro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Östman in the 35th minute of play forced Gatans Lag's goalkeeper Henning Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Ac Jordbro's Anders Östman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Nils Söder fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ac Jordbro's protests and gave Nils Söder a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Ac Jordbro got a freekick which was hit by Nils Söder. If Alvar Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Östman made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Anders Östman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henning Forsberg. Gatans Lag's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anders Östman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Ac Jordbro's Jens-Erik Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ac Jordbro from getting a goal against them. Henning Forsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Östman in the 70th minute of the match. Mats Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Henning Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anders Alebäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jens-Erik Abrahamsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Arne Melander in the 88th minute. With his leg Jens-Erik Abrahamsson managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Gatans Lag's Bengt-Arne Melander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anders Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ac Jordbro's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
