Spectators: 7264 (Terracing: 5483, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alvar Strand kicked off to start the match. Bengt-Arne Melander struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Erling Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatans Lag. When Kristoffer Kellman fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henån's protests and gave Kristoffer Kellman a yellow card for diving instead. Erling Eklund made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Bengt-Arne Melander sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Melander got free with Erling Eklund in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Sikströms short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Erling Eklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kristoffer Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Arne Melander got free with Erling Eklund in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Kristoffer Kellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knut Thidén charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Knut Thidén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Henån got a freekick which was hit by Knut Thidén. Henån's Erling Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Söderberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match Henån got a corner. Gatans Lag's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tage Eklund ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tage Eklund made a great header on Henån's corner, it was just that Gatans Lag's Henning Forsberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Kristoffer Kellman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvar Strand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erling Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Lundgren was the one to do the kick off. Henning Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tage Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Strand in the 55th minute of play forced Henån's goalkeeper Erling Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Kristoffer Kellman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tage Eklund got free with Henning Forsberg in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Bengt-Arne Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Kellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erling Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Strand in the 75th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Henån's Kjell Lundgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henning Forsberg. That made the score 0-2 after 77 minutes of play. The supporters of Gatans Lag booed when Henån was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvar Strand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Erling Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Henån's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Arne Melander came free, but Erling Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kristoffer Kellman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. In the 84th match minute, Henån was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Kellman to maneuver through the defense. If Alvar Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erling Eklund came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Gatans Lag's Alvar Strand. But to his dismay, Alvar Strand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
