Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michael Backman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stefan Malmström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Nyberg in the 3rd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes Arnäsvall got a freekick which was hit by Uno Tomasson. Per-Erik Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Askstedt in the 8th minute of play forced Arnäsvall's goalkeeper Stefan Malmström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Erik Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wictor Örtendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Backman in the 11th minute of play. Byxelkrok RK's Helge Ahlström got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Byxelkrok RK booed when Arnäsvall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Byxelkrok RK's Stefan Malmström threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Per-Erik Nyberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 19 minutes into the match, Arnäsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Nyberg came free, but Stefan Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Erik Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Malmström having to interfere. Helge Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Stefan Malmström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byxelkrok RK. If Per-Erik Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Majman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Byxelkrok RK's Billy Ahlfors couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arnäsvall. Helge Ahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Per-Erik Nyberg made the kick off in the second half. When Helge Ahlström came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Byxelkrok RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Ahlström couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Arnäsvall's zone, Per-Erik Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Malmström came out of the goal and Per-Erik Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Per-Erik Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Michael Backman came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Arnäsvall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Backman couldn't finish the play. Michael Backman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Malmström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Nyberg in the 72nd minute of the match. Helge Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Stefan Malmström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byxelkrok RK. Per-Erik Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Stefan Malmström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Arnäsvall's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Nyberg came free, but Stefan Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Byxelkrok RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Malmström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Nyberg in the 88th minute of the match. Stefan Malmström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd match minute, Byxelkrok RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Andberg to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Helge Ahlström notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Arnäsvall's Stefan Malmström. Stefan Malmström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Byxelkrok RK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
